I just woke up from almost falling asleep just to type this message. I won't know until tomorrow whether it was worth it, but I had a vibrant series of thoughts that got me going. First, Beibeleh's play was tonight, and I hope it was everything she wanted it to be. It was nice being there to see her family's first viewing. From an outside perspective, I was really happy to see the finished product and even referring to it as 'finished' is as jarring for me as it is a relief for Kate. That led me to the thinking of the idea of freezing time, more specifically how funny it would be to break out "freeze" in the middle of a scene during the 4/20 show. In that scene that I was (sort of) dreaming about, one of my characters was a doctor at a V.A. hospital in China, called V.A. China. After he finished the scene about slowing down time, he wrote a book entitled "The V.A. China Monologues." Who played the doctor? You guessed it, Andrew Koenig.
Did you know that Chekov was Boner's dad and that he is a performer at IOWest and Second City? It's true.
